A Few Questions on the ZI

I'm considering between a ZI and used M6 and have a few questions. Hope someone can help me out.

Can a current Elmar-M 50/2.8 collapse all the way without any trouble?

How well does the 85mm frameline match a 90/2.8 Elmarit?

Is the LED display for the meter visible from the front of the camera (the Bessa R2 had a red light come on in the frameline illumination window when the meter was active)?

The LED display is not visible from in front of the camera.

Shutterbug reviewd the ZI last April & included a comparison of frame lines. The 85 frame lines were pretty close to the frame lines of the 90 frame lines on most Leicas. In fact, some were actually wider! For all practical purposes, these 90 frame lines seem to be interchangeable with 90.

I don't have any collapsible lenses, so I can't comment on the compatibility questions although I think that others have posted that it's not a problem with the modern collapsible lenses. Hopefully someone else will post on this question.

on b&h the black zeiss ikon ad has a current 50 elmar with the thing collaped into it, duno if its in all the way though as the angle doesnt allow you to see
