Frank appears to have a very skeptical look on his face. Perhaps you had just proposed he undertake another of your crackpot camera modifications? 😉
Actually now that you mention it, I did bring a box of cameras things for him that day: A Leica IIIa ‘Lutz-Ferrando’ with a Summar lens, a film back for my Bronica S2, and my Philippe Tiranty Verographe. Always the weird stuff, but thankfully he’s glad I don’t subject him to the Hasselblads. I save those for another equally-tolerant repair guru.Frank appears to have a very skeptical look on his face. Mike, one thing I found helped me a bunch was to no longer carry my cameras around my neck. I’ve taken to using longer camera straps and wearing them ‘cross-body’ style. It completely takes the weight off my neck and makes a heavier camera a lot easier to carry around. Of course compared to something like a Bronica S2 the Hasselblad is light as a feather 🙂As I head towards sixty, nearly there, weight is an issue, as in how much I weigh and how much the kit I carry weighs, I am starting to think regarding thinning out the collection, this summer I plan to shoot with my Rolleis against my 500CM, usage, weight , ergonomics of the carry etc, eventually one system may go
At age 71, I hear you! So what are my two most recent camera purchases? A Bronica S2A and a Rollei 6006, both massive beasts. Obviously, there is something deeply irrational going on here...As I head towards sixty, nearly there, weight is an issue, as in how much I weigh and how much the kit I carry weighs, I am starting to think regarding thinning out the collection, this summer I plan to shoot with my Rolleis against my 500CM, usage, weight , ergonomics of the carry etc, eventually one system may go
They are frequently cannibalistic. The larvae eat each other too. This is a great photo.Don't think I've ever seen this before -- a dragonfly eating what appears to be another dragonfly.

Thanks Marty -- the dragonfly was so preoccupied with its meal that it paid no attention to me and I could get really close to it. This is pretty much full-frame.They are frequently cannibalistic. The larvae eat each other too. This is a great photo.
