I’ve seen the Zorki Scientology model prototype. There’s a screw missing, light leaks in and erases all your pictures. Did you notice that I said “Zorki Scientology model?” Don’t sue me if you’re a Scientologist, ok? Sue me if you work for Zorki and your name is Stalin.

Don´t have to wait too much I guess.....
As long as collectors exists, there´ll be someone ready or at least eager to bring you (or someone else) what you may ever want.
I guess that Zorki craftsmen (fakers) would bring out as many zorkified versions of old Leicas in any taste! (or should I say leicafied Zorkis instead?)...
Besides...I didn´t see any Kiev "contaxed" in any way... did you?
Well now seriously, I guess that anyone of Us would like to have a customized camera at some time. There is no legal or ethic reason why shouldn´t anyone of Us have it, if there is a clear arrangement between both parties involved, and legal rights of manufacturer are not avoided.
A "replica" is not a fake, as long as it bears that title.
I think that some people in this forum would agree to have one of those Leicaskys just because of what it is, but as a curiosity rather than a real collector´s item. And of course, not paying the premium prices that the real thing may command for.
I´m a newcomer to collecting cameras, however not so nil to be able to think that I´m able to get a hard to find collector´s item for the price of a candy!
Hmmmm... I guess that there are not that many "real things" to be copied...
Let´s see if someone knows how many real cameras can be "faked" or "just "copied"...

Unfortunately living in Argentina means that I have to pay a 100% of the sales price plus shipping charges as custom duties so a USD 45 will mean for me at least USD 200 at the end of the line.... quite expensive specially thinking that I can get a very nice one here for less than USD 100 (and fully CLAed and guaranteed).
Otherwise, be sure I will buy something else for my Kiev and Contax from Alex!

It seems that the fakers are not carefull enough or they have some care about leaving any that shows it´s a fake....
Besides, I forgot if I´d say it before.... but did anyone see any japanese military camera?
I´m sure the japanese armed forces shoud have some in service during WW II, but I never heard anything about those cameras.

The only Japanese military cameras I have ever seen anything of are the machine gun cameras, reportedly used for target practice on boats and planes.

Other than that, I don't knoe of any Japanese military cameras. I guess they would have used Nikons or Konicas or even Canons, depending what era .

This is unfortunately not too easy to accomplish living in Argentina: the few Canon P or Canon VII I´ve seen were only usable as spare parts. But I still expect to be lucky at some time...
