First: Mods if this should go somewhere else, I'm sorry and please move appropriately!
The Watertown (NY state) Children's Clinic is doing their annual fundraiser and it is an art show. Called 6 x 6, it consists of how ever many pieces of 6 inch by 6 inch art work any one wants to donate. Painting, photography, prints, what ever. These will all be hung and then sold for $20 each. The clinic keeps the proceeds.
If any RFFers are so inclined, the web page is here:
http://childrens-clinic.org/index.php
Towards the bottom left of the page are two links to pdf files that are the rules and entry form.
Frankly, not the coolest web site ever but a good cause, I think.
One thing I do particularly like about this is that the art work is signed on the back and the buyers don't see that until they've bought. So they are choosing based on the appeal of the art not the appeal of any particular artist. 😱
I'll be sending one or two, I hope some of the rest of us do as well.
