What is the model of bag that would be a little larger than the Domke F-5XB?

I would like it to be very similar style.

What other brands of bags have comparable styling as the F-5XB but a little larger?

Sorry for ANOTHER bag question, but I could not find what I was looking for in the

other threads.

Thanks

i don't think domke makes a next size up in that style.
the new f8 looks like it might be similar sized but it has the style of the f6 that i have. the f6 might work for you also but it doesn't look like a 5xb.

Don't be sorry, I like bag questions. There does need to be a "stretch" 5XB! In my mind, it would be one compartment longer. Rather than a belt loop in back (a longer bag would be too long to wear on a belt) it would have a slim pocket for a notebook, airplane ticket, etc. Maybe a couple of small pockets on the front side.

I'm very impressed with my F-5xB ... it comfortably holds my Ikon and my Hexar both with 50mm lenses fitted and a 35mm and 75mm lens as extras in between the two cameras.

B&H is listing a F5-XC as accepting orders. Perhaps a new model? Certainly looks to fill the gap between the F5xb and F6.

nice looking bag but i have never cared for the bottom storage space like that.

I tend to agree, Joe, except that it might be a nice place to tuck a larger meter (e.g., LunaPro) or other things not frequently accessed. Still, I think I prefer the smaller, sleeker look of the 5xb.

I don't care for these taller/deeper bags either. Like Rob-F said, a stretched out 5xb would be nice.

I don't see the utility of a stretch F-5XB. Once you get to that size you may as well get an F6 which is more flexible and usable, IMO. But that's just me. The one thing I would like on the F6 is the ability to add on end pouches, making it more like an F5 but only when I need the extra storage.

Looks like Domke may be addressing the digital market a bit more with deeper bags like this F-5xC. I was in a Calumet store recently to take a look at an F-1X for a very long trip. They did not have the bag there and when I expressed my frustration the sales assistant told me that they were not stocking the Domke brand as much because "they are not keeping up with the times".

When Domke introduced the F-5XA last year, I asked for a larger version of the F-5XB, and even suggested it be designated F-5XC.
Apparently Jim Domke listened, and presumably I deserve most of the credit. But honestly folks, no thanks are necessary... ;)

Chris: Do you hae that many Instamatics that you really need the F-5XC? And how do you easily pull them out of a deep bag like that? Inquiring minds ...

But thanks!

I think the F-5XB maybe for me but despite knowing the internal measurements I can't say for sure whether my gear will fit inside. I want to carry a Mamiya 6 with retracted 75mm and a Canon 20D with a small 50mm. Has anyone this combination?
