A more detailed review of the Bessa III

eddale, would you at some point share some images using f/16 and above? Reason is that old school folders get a weird "astigmatism" problem when you use an aperture higher than 8 or 11. Look forward to pics if you have time or interest.
Cheers,
Chris
PS: I own an old Ansco Viking 6x9 and Zeiss Super Ikonta III- same aperture/lens issues...

Thank you for the review! It looks like the Bessa III is exactly what i need. I'm getting mine tomorrow, and plan on taking it as a snap shooter next to my 4x5 for a photo assignment in Australia! Will post the results when I get back!

Thanks for that, now I want one as well... 🙁
If I didn't already have my hasselblad I would make this the first thing on my list of cameras to get.

I am trying hard to ignore this camera out of the fear of being even poorer 🙂

Great review. Thank you.

Japan Exposures GF670 review

Damn! This seems to be exactly what I'm looking for. I was thinking of replacing my Hasselblad with a Mamiya 7 because I prefer 6x7. However, I can't get over how terribly sharp and contrasty the Mamiya lenses are. This seems to be much closer to the Zeiss glass. Still a bit too expensive for me, though.
