welcome....i just had a look around your web page......you have some amazing pictures there....there are few in there that just stunned me...magnificant work

thanks for the warm welcome.....the minolta d7i.....uuhhh, that makes it years since i used this cam. had some digital crap since, 300D...20D but in fact i always had a leica m in mind and made the step six month ago by getting the m7 kit (2/50cron) and added a 2/35cron from canada aferwards which i replaced by a 2/35cron asph recently

Welocome this is a great group of folks here. Your photographs a very nice I enjoed looking at them thank syou.

Thanks again. On my site the Leica shots are only under the icon called "Leica shots" and I use the 2/50cron and a 2/35cron asph.
The other photos were taken with C**on DSLRs and as you can tell have some Photoshop afterwork done to them......
The Leica shots are straight from the cam and scanned with a coolscan VED but I also just bought a used enlarger and propbely will soon just use my prints, even for the internet.
Some say, you take the way in the wrong sens but I do not agree as I shot digital with so called, quality material for years and think those "overclean" digital photos just look "dead" aside a well executed Leica shot

I don't remember if I already told you hello over here, Rainer! So here it comes :

Hello 🙂
I'm just one of these traitors who left France to go in the Eastern Block enjoy the FSU cameras 😀

Welcome Rainer,

I enjoyed your comparison between digital images and "analog" images (dead vs. alive?). I also enjoyed your gallery and web site.

🙂

Welcome Rainer! You have some truly excellent images on your webpage; you will make an excellent addition to the team here. I just got an M7 as well, and I am really enjoying it. Though I have used Leicas before, there is really something about having AE and the shutter speeds in the viewfinder. Though I am used to fully manual, it really speeds things up a bit if you need to make a grab shot....
