A P is coming my way...

I've been trying some RF with a FSU FED 5. Nice experience, but it's not exactly small. I decided I needed something more compact and perhaps a bit more reliable, but I'm not ready (or able) to pay Leica money. So I figured that the Canon P would be a great camera to get. And I just did! Well, I haven't got it yet, but it should be on its way soon... I can't wait! Sooo excited! 🙂

My P family seems to be growing... one more and I can challenge Raid.

It's just a body coming, but I've got an Industar 61 L/D I can use (I just hope the focusing will be OK). And I know a place where I can get a Jupiter 8 for a good price... GAS is kicking in... 🙂

Good choice on the P! The I-61 should focus properly, it did on mine, the J-12 can fit too despite the light baffles 🙂

The shutter has a few wrinkles, but I think it looks quite nice - I've seen worse...



The viewfinder is great! Big and bright, I absolutely love it. Too bad I don't have that Industar lens at home. I guess I'll just have to fondle the camera for a couple of days... 🙄

P is just compact enough for me. Any bigger and I would not like it. I put a Griptac cover on mine.

Went out and enjoyed the camera today. Feels great, so much nicer than an SLR... The roll is developing as I type! 😀

Great! I was out with my P today as well. It's really dark and rainy here so I wasn't expecting any masterpieces. I just enjoy my P and the 'schlo - schlo' kind of shutter noise when shot in 1/60s or slower.

I bit the bullet and bought a P that was offered for a good price also. I've been shooting a couple of Bottom loaders, and a VI-T, but wanted a thumb winder. Actually I also had a 7 for a while, and loved the viewfinder. I'm excited to see how the P compares, the only Canon RF I haven't tried.

Now...someone please make an offer on my IVSB and VI-T in the classifieds so I can pay for this!

The P is my favorite Japanese RF, and my favorite LTM body as well. Really really good value if you get a good one.

I picked up another P today. This is my fourth, i think lol! I will be keeping this one, as it will most likely keep me busy while i send my M2 off to get "unleica'd"...
