In April I attended the World Photography Festival and had a brief encounter with Bruce Davidson.

Bruce Davidson was the one that got me into street photography. His photos were really inspiring and his methods and techniques made me rethink the way I approach photography.

You think that's bad? I just caught myself recognising the jacket Bruce is wearing (yes, I have one just like it, and also found the sleeves too long). 😀

Thanks for the nice comments. It was a real honour to be in his presence, and listen to him talk about his work.
I kept it as light as possible, the temptation for me to "waffle on" was there, but it appears I made the right choice in keeping it straight and to the point.
There was a moment that made me cringe, when a lady said to Bruce "I see you still use an old-fashioned camera...."
I no longer remember the rest of the question or answer but I did a sharp intake of breath through pursed lips that made her look at me. 😱
