A question from my mother

Mum is over for Christmas. She has taken an interest in my rangefinder obsession. I wonder if anyone can help her to locate the name of a photographer who's work she really appreciated....

I would say Eisenstat, Winograd and Henri Cartier Bresson and perhaps Dave Alan Harvey. If you want somewhat more cutting edge, try here http://www.leica-camera.us/news/publications/ , though I would stick with the first four for my mother.

My mum, bless, still thinks that my old cameras - in fact, any old cameras - only work in black and white with more modern cameras handling colour.

Reminds me of Peter Kay's grandparents, hiding in the kitchen when they recorded programs off the TV with the VCR.....so that it wouldnt record their conversation.

I still get people in the camera store here explaining that they know all about that digital stuff, but the one thing they still don't understand is where you put the film......
