"a rangefinder? why would i do that?"

Maybe the guy in first picture is........ OK I don't what is he thinking...
Ok think about it, one camera, 3 lenses, 3 filters, 12 films rolls, a light meter, all can be keep in a think tank speed demon, and if we talk about digital, 4 cards of 32gb each one, one lens 28/300mm, on body camera.... mmmm in the jacket can be keep all. soooo, this guys is awesome :p

You folks are being very unfair. It is so easy to judge when you take a photo out of context like this. The guy is actually not a photographer - he is running a used photo store! :D

"No he didnt" .... "yes, he did" .... "NO he didnt!" .... "YES he did!" ....
"NO HE DID NOT!".... "YES HE DID!" .........HE DID!

OMG: look by the right side of his shoe, he is using a cane to help himself walk around!

Thanks for good chuckle, Porktaco! Yes, that chap is carrying way more than I would; in fact, if I had to carry that much around, I would have given up on the hobby a long time ago.

^Actually, I believe he is using a monopod as a walking staff :)

I tought he was carrying a steadycam... there's some video grips and stuff and the thing that pokes out of the lower bag... but he seems to be in some zoo, why would he film through a glass, with people around...

(I remember some guys in a zoo, snapping herons and other common birds, using huge lenses like 600 f4 or similar... with pro-bodies and gimbal heads... while the same birds could be see in the wild just outside the zoo...)
