A Real X100?

Even if it's authentic some Japan market cameras have Japanese language only firmware which can't be upgraded with English firmware.

It's gotta be fake. I don't think the camera is launched yet in any market, or we'd see them on ebay for eager owners to buy imported products.

I've read there's happening new kind of robbery based on local ads - people drive to meet in person seller or buyer and end up with gun in face or like that. Loosing money looks like easy escape, finally.

Craigslist is mentioned as place where crooks look for victims.

Luckily I am protected by the sheer level of apathy I feel about the X100.

For sure a scam, don't even email because it'll probably hook you up with spammers. Just report, report, report.

Easy way to not get robbed on Craigslist: "Okay, I'll be at Starbucks at this time, can you meet me there?"

That's much better than: "So you're address is 382, Scary Dark Alley, in the bad part of town... I'll be there!"

I used Craigslist to buy and sell all the time. If you're street smart it's totally safe.
