A repair tools set for M3 ?

Having two beaten up M3s getting ready to be shipped off for a good CLA/repair soon, I figured M3's service manual for a few $. There are 180 pages of camera disassambly, tuning, etc...
There are sets of the proper tools required for a proper and safe disassably/re-assembly of the camera, the catalog numbers of the tools are mentioned in the manual.
Just out of curiosity: is there any source these tool sets could be purchased for reasonable price ? Also, similar question about a proper lubricating materials ?

Some tools such as screwdrivers and flexiclamps can be bought from micro-tools.com but the specialized tools as far as I know would have to come from Leitz.

I've done camera repair for many years but I let DAG do my M-series cameras

Yes, sounds reasonable. There is also additional specialized stuff such as special lubricants and spare parts that must be factored in and most certainly only a professionally trained technician can take care of it confidently.
I'm prepared to ship the cameras for treatement (Youxin or Sherry or Steve), however in one of these the shutter apears to be fully open and I can't see whether the shutter curtain is present inside or it is probably absent...curtain absense or replacement sounds like a major shutter repair and might turn to be quite expensive...

It sounds like the curtain edge has separated from the metal lathe. I have an M3 that had this problem and sent it to DAG. I also has a new set of curtains which I sent along too. Total cost of repair which includes CLA was $290 + $22 shipping.

If you don't have the curtain like I did he'll also have to charge for a new curtain which I don't know his charge. You can email him and ask his charge

Just emailed Youxin asking the cost of shutter repair given new curtain is needed....
will see how much it can turn out to be...
