Hello all, I've got some stuff that's just cluttering up the limited space I have. I'd have taken it to a camera shop that I know of, but there was a "falling out" so I can't take it there. Anyway, this stuff would only be able to go to the UK due to postage costs. send me a pm and the stuff will go to the first pm I get that mentions the item number.
1) A Voigtlander Brillant f4.5 V6. Metal lens cap. 29mm push on UV, Yellow (x3?) and Green (x2?) filters and push on lens hood. Clean, fully working and looks good. The distances on the lens are hard to see. For photos that I posted in another thread, go to post 28 of: Voigtlander Brillant
2) Rolleiflex SL26, 40mm lens. Looks good, fully working but stuff in the viewfinder, probably bits of mirror dampening foam and what looks like the dead body of a little bug. So camera needs a bit of internal cleaning. The battery compartment is completely stuck. The seller tried to open it and even drilled itno it but no joy. This is one camera, one lens. The lens has a tiny patch on the edge of the front element, which is sort of circular patch of something, but I can't tell what. I have no photos of the camera or lens.
3) Rolleiflex SL26, 40mm lens. description as above, including the tiny bug, lol, but the battery compartment does unscrew. Also comes with a an 80mm lens with tiny scratch on the front element and case, and 28mm lens with a very small semi circle of what looks tiny bubbles, also including case. The 40mm has an even tinier thing on the edge of the front element than the other 40mm lens, but it looks more like a bubble in the glass to me rather than anything else. I have no photos of the camera or lenses.

Very generous of you Seany. I’m sure they’ll find appreciative new owners.

Anyone who is thinking of the SL26 should jump on it! I had one back in the seventies, when they were current, and it was a delight.

There are two sl26's.
Pssst, don't tell anyone 'cos its a big secret, but I'm hoping that whoever gets either one will post here that they've managed to clean out the crap in the viewfinder, whether it's stuck to the bottom of the focusing screen, between the screen and the prism or between the eyepiece and the prism , and say they've replaced the mirror dampening foam, and then I'll have flushed out someone who could, theoretically at least, do the same for the one I'm keeping which has no bug in it and fewer bits of crap. lol.
Having said that, it's only a hope and not any sort of precondition for me to send them an SL26.

Sorry, forgot to mention that the Voigt Brillant v6 has speeds that go from: B, 1 second to 1/500th.

Just in case people have been put off by the bugs in the viewfinders of the sl26s: I've had the cameras a good few months and I've only ever seen 1 bug in each of the cameras they are both dead. I suppose, theoretically, one of the bugs could just be suspiciously shaped mirror dampening foam.

The first (item 2 in the original post) SL26 comes with a Rollei Bay1 light blue filter by way of a lens cap.
The second (item 3 in the OP) comes with a Photax 1A filter and a lens cap.

Both SL26's come with metal push-on lens hoods for the 40mm lenses, but you'll have to adjust them yourselves.

I’d like to have item 3, one of the Rollei’s if possible. Thanks, news shooter.

Hello news shooter, Thanks for your interest. I'll have to look into postage.
Item 2) in the list is the single SL26 with 40mm lens, rollei light blue filter and lens hood. I know it'll be quite expensive to send so I may only be able to afford to send that one.
Item 3) in the list is the SL26 with 40mm, with photax 1A filter, slightly loose lens cap, metal lens hood, 28mm and 80mm lenses (both with cases). This lot may be too expensive.
I don't have access to my old paypal account, so even if you wanted to contribute something to the postage You won't be able to, we're limited me paying for the postage.

Seany, thanks for the reply. Don’t really need both cameras and if it’s too costly for you, I’d rather that you need not bear the burden of postage. Please advise and thank you!Hello news shooter, Thanks for your interest. I'll have to look into postage.

They're both boxed up (but not sealed) so I'll be able to check the postage tomorrow. I'll probably have to make two trips as I'll be checking the price of posting the Brillant V6 to Connecticut, lol.

Sorry, I nearly forgot:
The Voigt. Brillant V6 has been claimed and posted, and the single SL26 (Item 2 in the original post) has been claimed it will soon be posted.
So now the SL26 camera, and the 28mm, 40mm and 80mm kit is all that's left.
But now it will now almost certainly have to be UK only, unless the postage to Western Europe is lower than that to the USA.

Just letting people know that Monday 24/3/25 is the last day of listing for the SL26 and 3 lenses. After that they'll either e chucked in the recycling bin or taken to a charity shop although I doubt they'd get much for them even though they do work.

Well, it is now 00:15am and it is Tuesday, so the listing has ended. It is no more. It has ceased to be. It has shuffled off this mortal coil. It is a dead listing.

Cudda sworn, in fact I would've made a bet with a glorious British 5p coin, that I'd written "It is an Ex listing".
I do still have the camera and lenses, I've not got around to chucking them out yet, lol.
