Our own Todd.Hanz questioned my sanity when I jubilantly announced the arrival of a second M5. 😀

The Project: A Year With Bigfoot & Bubba never really got started. Now it is missing 50% of the participants.

Today I sent Bubba to a new home. In the Heartland as they say. USA Heartland. I know the new owner will enjoy using the camera. It's a keeper.

Down to 2 rangefinder cameras. Bigfoot and the Canon VI-T I bought about a hundred years ago. Lenses: 28, 35 x 2, 50 x 2, 85, 90 x 2, 135. I need to thin that lot.

I need to waste a ton of film. 😀

I need to update my sorely neglected blog.

Did I mention why I placed Bubba for adoption? A very nice, clean, Canon 1D Mk. III. 🙂 😎

Sad to see Bubba go but I am sure he went to a good home. I sold one of my two last year, though the keeper is going strong!

Enjoy pouring film through Bigfoot!

What a ton of film you could've wasted if you hadn't bought that ugly beast! 🙂

I am at least happy that didn't send off both, anyway. One M5 is better than none. I guess that's the next step when the GAS for Canon L lenses are coming up.

I have been using those since forever on my 2 EOS film bodies. That made using the 1D easier.

VI-T....................VITo. 🙂

Meanwhile.........

Bob is trying to tempt me into squandering the rent money on a replacement M5.

Bozo.

Bluto. Bob Altman's "Popeye" is a favorite of mine.

"A Year with Bigfoot & Bluto" or, attempting to be an adult, "A Year with Two Cameras and Three lenses"

The whole concept goes down the drain when I think about all of the other cameras going to waste. Garage Sale of big cameras? Sell everything else. Buy a Konica 50/1.2 for Bigfoot to go with the 90/2.8? The Canon gets the 35/2.0 & 85/2.0. I'm beginning to sound like joe.

Congratulations and thanks for saving me from homelessness.

Bigfoot and Sasquatch has a nice ring to it. Quasi-redundant but not obviously so.

To all the M5 detractors out there: When you heap insults on the M5's size and weight, you should be forced to heft a modern pro digital SLR and fast zoom lens.
