Love the presentation format as the audio just adds so much information to the still photos. And the audio being in the subject's voice is really a step up.
Also, great choice of subject matter. Each episode is a surprise being a subject we thought we had no interest in until it starts. When each show is over, we are left with that feeling that we are a bit smarter than when it started. Who would have ever thought that I would watch a little program about bee keeping. But I did and loved it.

Hello there...
For those of you who watched and liked the slideshows, we are embarking on phase two of this project and venturing out of the Avalon peninsula. We started a small kickstarter campaign to fund the four profiles on Bonavista peninsula. Should you feel so inclined, here is a link to support that campaign: http://kck.st/2EUgRkG
And here is a link to the 12 profiles we published so far: https://vimeo.com/manage/albums/4981968
Cheers!

Bojan: I just love the format. And each show is so informative about the local culture.
Those who believe the world begins and ends with prints hanging on a wall should view the excellent photography but with the sound turned off, then again with the audio to see the difference.

I just realized it has audio
. So it is documentary!
Been born and raised in multi-million city and still keeping its way I'm intrigued how people live Walmart/Drugshoppers free places. We are back to USSR in major cites. Would it be Toronto or Boston. Everything looks the same, same stores at every corner...

Bob and Ko.Fe thank you for the kind words! Newfoundland still has its hidden charms, but the mass consumerism is very much inescapable here as well the moment you get away from a small outport community. What is encouraging is seeing how many people are trying to do something different and something that feels authentic to this place. So there is hope. There is always hope

Yesterday an envelope addressed to me arrived in the mail containing two postcards from the Postcard Project #11. The cards had been sent by Bojan to me in British Columbia, Canada from across the country in Newfoundland. One of the cards was a terrific photograph taken by Bojan of the artisanal salt makers of Bonavista featured in the 7070 series. The other was an equally wonderful hand printed picture created by "Pherdinand" in the Netherlands meant for me in BC but delivered to Bojan in Nwfl because my card had stuck to his as one. The card from Europe made its way across the ocean and from coast to coast with a little stop along the way in Newfoundland, just like we used to do years ago when transatlantic flights touched down in Gander for "a wee visit" before heading on their way.
Bojan took the time to help make sure I received Csaba's card, which was kind of him, and true to the good nature of Newfoundlanders. The story of the postcard's journey led me to take a second look at the slide shows for the 7070 series and the stories they tell. Each one is astonishingly good. If you have not seen them, I highly recommend following the link. Definateky work of the top quality.

This one in gritty and dark visually because an optometrist works pretty much in the dark.
And Greg, I am so glad your postcards made it!

Bojan: another interesting story about a topic that I previously knew nothing about and thought I had no interest in. I am impressed by the base creativity of selecting the topics and their presentation. This is what journalism is all about. Kudos!
