Nikkor 85/2 chrome, LTM, 515g
I measured my black LTM one on our (not very accurate) packet scale. It's just a little less than a pound, so maybe 400-420g or so. If you account for the difference in registration distance (7mm) it's pretty much the same size as the Zuiko 85/2.
Cheers,
Roland.

We now have in this thread two different weights for the Chrome Nikkor in LTM (570 and 515). Which is it? Or was there variation?
I had the impression there are variations between the lenses, just like the Canon ones. So I won't be surprise if there are weight differential between the different version. The focusing barrel on my Chrome Nikkor LTM certainly looks different from my Chrome S mount version.

the 55 filter size v3?

Are these hit or miss, or are there just a lot of posts of mis-focused ones?

Make up your mind. Small and light OR fast. Though I don't find my last-series pre-aspheric 90/2, bought new 25+ years ago, unnecessarily big.
Jupiter-9s are wonderfully romantic but seldom all that sharp. Even a perfect one is fairly soft at f/2, simply because it's a pre-war Zeiss Sonnar with coating. There has been progress in lens design since!

In general, Nikkor lenses were very heavy in the early '50s. The barrels were gradually lighted because of feedback from photojournalists trying to carry an assortment of lenses. Optically, there should be no meaningful difference between early and late lenses.

My weight was without caps, filters, hood, and boxes. My new kitchen scale is pretty accurate, and measurements corresponding with some measures I made earlier with an earlier scale. So I guess it's quite precise up to 1-2g although it was not made by Nippon Kogaku. We now have in this thread two different weights for the Chrome Nikkor in LTM (570 and 515). Which is it? I have a Jupiter-9 which I really, really like... silver edition. But a really nice Nikkor 8.5cm 2.0 in black and LTM would be the end of my search for a RF long-focus portrait lens.
Well, unless a Nikkor 10.5cm 2.5 showed in LTM for the right price...

Maybe we should rename the thread to the most big and heavy ones?
How is the weight of the V1 90/2 Summicron, 1kg?

My guess is they are just hard to focus, Ted. A 90/2 is just as difficult as a 75/1.4.

Not small or lightweight, but very fast!
The 90mm V1 F2 Summicron, and the 85mm F1.5 Canon. I also sometimes use the 90mm F4 collapsible Elmar.
I have these two beauties too, and I like them a lot. Fast they are!

Dear Roland,
My guess is the same. Plus camera shake in some cases. Stick 'em on a tripod and they're very sharp indeed. I'd want to see bad test target shots, with focus bracketing, before I'd believe I'd encountered a bad one. Especially one that was bad enough for lack of sharpness to show up in a web post.
Cheers,
R.
