It's been two weeks and while I'm still getting comfortable with the R-D1, I've been happy with the results. Attached are a few shots from today (rainy) and Friday (sunny).

I'm particularly pleased with the level of detail on the chair photos. Let me know what you think.

Thanks
CD

I think that they are rather poor photographs...

1. boring?
2. the use of the DOF seems off to me
3. ? could be interesting...
4. nice sharp image...but boring.
5. need more from it.

sorry if it comes off rude...I'm not trying to be. Feel free to contact me if you want to talk more about your images.

ChristianD, had a look at your flickr site. I like the portrait tagged "karen" best. After that, the Coit tower night shot was the one I liked best.

Thanks for the feedback and (mostly) nice comments. I can appreciate the response about the interestingness of the subjects. What can I say - I was trapped inside because of the rain today ;)

The third one appeals to me in a strange kind of way - you seem to have captured the weather quite well - brooding!

The R-D1 sure is sharp too.
