I joined the forum there; the images are powerful and they bring back to me memories when I lived with my parents in Bonn in the 60's. We would see on TV as Germans kill Germans when attempting to cross the wall or swin across the river between East and West. The small cars [made in East Germany] were for years the symbol of poverty of the East Germans after the wall fell.

Raid, you lived in Bonn in the 60s ? I was born in Bonn in 1965, lived there all of the time until i came to Japan in 2003.

I was 6 when we arrived to Bonn in 1961. We missed each other in school!
