Well, I'm 42 and my eyesight seems to be getting worse daily and I'm a lot more tired. I guess I am. 😉

And yes, an articulating screen is wicked good for two-eyed waste-level and ground-level shooting and also tabletop work.

I'll take changing batteries to keep the size of the body small. After all, changing batteries is easier then changing film.
