A (very) short movie made with an OM-2, a motordrive and a roll of Acros.

Sometimes I just get plain bored with my cameras and have to find a way to do something different with them. Today was one of those days ... the weather was crap and my mind was wandering into possible scenarios with an OM-2, motordrive, scanner, computer and finally 'You Tube.'

The result of the day's insanity is this five (yes five) second movie I've titled ......

That's fun.. My daughter has a 100 days of school project where you do something with 100 things. We are going to make a flip book with 100 photos. I'm going to show her this!

It was mainly an experiment to see how hard it actually was to do.

I love that semi stop motion look and if I do it again it will be a live subject and definitely a soundtrack. The motordrive (pistol grip type) of the Oly was a little fierce and Ive noticed my old N90s has a reduced frame rate of around a frame per second on slow mode which would make life easier.

It's kind of invigorating to see a whole roll of film disappear in around nine seconds ... those 250 frame backs must have been a hoot provided you weren't paying the film bills!

I have always said it takes creative minds to create something. Can't wait for the sequel.:)

Very Emmanuel Radnitzky of you. I like it. Also makes me think of films I've seen of Calder's flea circus. You are quite the Dadaist.

I have to say Keith this is a disappointment. (wait wait!)

Unlike the usual crop of YouTibe videos this one has totally failed to engage the audience. I mean where is the usual vitriolic comments from YouTube commentators with their racial slurs, my country is better than your country, American humor is better than British humour, my cock is bigger than your hen (ahem) and so forth.

Certainly an interesting experiment for sure :)

It wasn't brought on by resorting to the ether was it? (Fear and Loathing reference.)

:D

Some of the comments you see under You Tube clips are an absolute yawn ... and some are just plain demented.

No ether ... maybe a little too much coffee though! :p
