a Vote for the "worst" word used in the RFF in 2006

i say bokeh like frank says it...but i actually NEVER say it out loud!!

colour is how it's spelled in the civilized world...;)

i like painting for how a lens draws...remember photography means painting with light, right?

This thread rocks! (or should I say 'awesome'). I'm surprised no one has mentioned the other four letter word some people get angry about (see link):

Puts:p

Bokeh is actually a beautiful poetic word.... it sounds good and it can describe anything.

"the bokeh of your eyes look rather magnificent tonight darling"

"I like the plan, but the Bokeh is rather disturbing)

"the truffle sauce had a wonderful bokeh tonight"

"Böhms 9th had a really nice Bokeh to it"

see you can use it anywhere, try replacing it with GAS .....

I am surprised no one has said it yet --- GLOW

Oh, barf, "glow". So true - so true. I now guiltily look at all my photos to see if they have the "glow" or not. I feel so, so, how shall I put it, inferior when they don't. And they so seldom do. I feel guilty and inferior all the time since I read those posts. Help me, please! :bang:

Especially true when you consider that film (or perhaps plates) are the original digital medium. The halide crystals turn black (once developed) once a threshold of an "amount" of light reachs them. It is a reaction that happens or not, ie on or off. Our eyes will "see" various shades of grey depending on the density of those that have reacted. However it is still digital. :D

Analog or analogue.

Since when were cameras analogue? They are either film or digital, aren't they?
