a work in process

chrome on chrome, chrome on black. My BP MP sports 50mm and 90mms in chrome. Love the extra weight and the look doesn't bother me.

chrome or black, all are realy beautyfull.
I bought the chrome because I had a good offer one year ago.
For photography it doesn't realy matter.

The case is a Luigi halfcase with out rear window,
so I have o be carefull when loading the film and I should not forget setting the ISO dial.

While it looks like a nice camera and lenses, I really don't understand why take so many photos of it? I'd rather see what you can do with it - there seem to be many photos on a table there, next to it - why don't you post those instead? or - as well? After all - camera is just a tool, right?;)

Black or chrome is not important for the quality of the pictures. But it´s important for the look and feel of camera and lens. As Magus I like the little extra weight of the 35 and 50 ´crons in silver - they feel better. And I like chrome on chrome - if something looks nice, it´s nicer to handle than something "ugly". This is meant in my own personal categories of aesthetics: I don´t like a black lens on a silver camera.

So after this statement: Martin, your MP with silver lenses look great. And I don´t mind pictures showing the workspace. They have an almost advertorial look, make me want to go home and pick up my camera.

that's my intention, thanks

by the way,
not only the overstanding technical quality of the MP was the reason to get one,
I think it's a little love afair too

I really understand how you feel. Buying a Bessa was G.A.S., but buying my LEICA was different - something like fulfilling a dream no matter what´s the price.
