A Xpan Wedding

Excellent shots, dude! I love all of them. General rules of composition apply, I usually need to look more careful all across the frame, esp. on 30 mm!

XPan rules!!!

very nice! love them all, especially the first of the color photos..
Let me guess, Singapore? I saw familiar HDB sighting and red pavement bricks..
correct me if i'm wrong, though! :)

Congratulations!!!
I found too, that the Xpan lens do not suit pushed film, but the colour is gorgeous.
It's a joy to look at.

color shots are stunning! I love that 1st one..

stunning photographs! xpan & wedding = creativity. cheers

What a nice approach to capture the wedding with the panoramic camera. I especially like the color photos.

Fantastic shots - the colour ones are a joy, thanks for sharing these.

Fantastic shots, a great perspective. Love the b&w and the colour are sublime.

Thanks so much guys! I really wanted a different perspective from the usual 35mm which is the reason why I bought the Xpan in the 1st place. Been shooting with it everyday just to train my eye to 'see'.

Hi bayusuptra! Yup I'm based in Singapore. Are you from Singapore too?
Glad you liked the pictures!

Congratulations!!!

Hi palec! Yup the lens is rather contrasty. Add that to the contrasty nature of pushed film and you get really dense blacks! I actually like it but I'm not sure whether it suits wedddings.

One from a pre-wedding shoot last weekend. This photo sums up why I bought the Xpan in the 1st place!

Really beautiful pictures. I looked at all the photographs in your blog. They are all done with a grat sense of compositon and moment. Congratulations for working professionally with film....

Agree with most of the above. Can't understand any prejudice against B&W though.

The last pre-wed shot is stunning.

Enjoy using it. :)

First off: WOW! these are great photos!
I love these shots! Such a beautiful wedding, you did an amazing job of capturing some really special moments, well done!

I never actually knew there was such a thing as a Xpan but its brilliant!!!
This wedding reminds me I walked through a wedding awhile ago while wondering around sydney, luckily people were just mingling and the ceremony hadn't started yet (oops!)

As a user of strictly colour only, I have to admit that the very best of B/W prints have something very special about them which you cannot achieve with colour.

wow you did an amazing thing with that xpan.
