these three did not catch my eye the first several times i looked at them. what do you think, especially the first one, whose focus is on one tiny spot - that little island in the middle of the creek. all bw400cn, rokkor 45/2.8 (what else? it's a fixed lens), walgreens processing and scanning:

The last one is my favorite! Full of detail and a certain mysterious quality about it! I expect to see an intrepid fisherman with winter clothing heading to the dock to do some fishing! Good shot! Keep shooting!

thanks, tom. intrepid crappie fishermen put in at black creek just about any day pushing 50F this time of year. not on the day this shot. creek was frozen all the way over, 2-3 inches thick, and the river was showing skim ice. and this is north central alabama! we had two straight weeks of day-time highs under 35F, and night-time lows from 12 to 22F. but it was fun to shoot ...
