I have an A7r and quite a few Leica M lenses. For studio, I want to utilize my 50mm Summicron and want to shoot at 1/125 at f8-11 or so at ISO 200. Problem is what is the best setting for the viewfinder to avoid it getting so dark I cannot see anything. I never had this problem with my M8 (rangefinders are always bright) or on my X Pro-1 (hybrid). So who is using M or other legacy glass in the studio and what are your favorite settings on the A7r /A7?

So I haven't shot my A7 with strobes outdoors yet. But I have done a few product shots and vanity photos of my Leica lenses with strobes. I focus and compose wide open, and then stop down to the desired aperture to use the flash. I fix the shutter speed and ISO, so it takes very little extra time to shoot.

I need a radio slave for my Adorama Flashpoint mono light flash. It is the large audio like plug style. Anyone have some great suggestions for the A7r? I am getting tired of bad wire connections!

Pretty much any one will do in fact many come with an adapter so you can use them with strobes that take either the small 3.5mm or Larger 6.25mm plug. Even if the kit doesn't come with one you can easly get one as an accessory
Here one I found at Adorama http://www.adorama.com/CACWFTVFS.html
