Regarding my posts--and I can't see any others which are a problem, the images are not copied, they are displaying the content that is stored on Flickr (an important distinction when it comes to "copy"-right.) The Flickr group is already a publicly accessible group on Flickr, and the images linked (when clicking on them) go to publicly accessible photo pages.
It's the same with embedded youtube videos which you see everywhere--the nightly news, for example. Google image search--is that a copyright violation?
Not only are there no copied images here, all displayed are clearly fair use. I don't sell Sony Cameras or any images here. I don't have the camera yet so they can't be mine. Why do I post them? So people can seen how the glass performs, obviously. I.E. education---for free.
If any image owner wishes an image to be removed, I'd do so immediately, regardless.
Beyond that, if this thread is a problem I hope we are prepared to review the entire site for all product shots of cameras like the DF etc, all avatars, etc.
I think it's a shame to change the subject of this thread, but since the A7 is so controversial I guess i'm not surprised.
I've already pmed the mods and Stephen, so this is last comment on the issue I will make in the thread--though I expect to be accused of theft shortly. It will be their call.
If there is another user who is a problem, I'd request they be contacted directly.

On a more pleasant note:
leica 40/2:
Again, I ask.. is this shot at f2.0? as the flicker pages don't seem to show aperture details.

The images are not uploaded attached or anything else. They are not on this site at all. They are displayed in a "window" which shows them in their actual location. AKA embed, a form of linking. As intended.
It's the same on google images. Except google doesn't even bother to tell you who shot the image.

Now some flickr users have this form of linking turned off, for example:
summarit 50:

I've gone over the thread carefully now, and removed a few links to crops I made from test images, and several other shots which were direct image links--not quite the same as the embeds. A few By Martin show in quotes, but in our communication at FM he had no problem with the test shots being shown. I will remind him they show here. If he has a problem I can let the quoters know.
50LUX I'll guess pre-asph

You make good points, but at the same time I want RFF to respect the rights of photographers.
Contact the photogs whose pics you have linked. Ask them for permission to show their linked pics at RFF, show how you have done it in whatever thread, and invite them to join RFF.
If they do not give you permission within a week of the request, only show the link, not the pic.

So, the question is.. how do these compare to those shot on an FF M9 or M240, regarding vignetting. The same, worse, or better?

Well they correct for the lens, without that correction it may be similar.
I own the cron, I expect it to be useable, but it's not going to be as good as on the Leicas, except in the center, where it will have more IQ. That's just my guess.

Any colour shift? This will be harder to fix. Clean vignetting is pretty easy to correct.
All in all I think the A7R is pretty dam good for a third of the price of a Leica M. The ISO performance is also better on the A7R

Nice classic lens. The 35/2.0 8 element photos too. I wish they would post aperture settings.
One thing is clear. The A7R sensor captures the character of Leitz glass. That's one of the major ticks.
