"The Leica I (1913), the Konica C35 AF (1977) and the Canon 5D Mark II (2008).
What do they all have in common? They are all landmark iconic cameras that significantly changed the course of photography forever and influenced subsequent generations of cameras."
So begins the SLR lounge field review of the Sonys.

I will not say if I agree, and I only put that here because it's very informative about various aspects of the camera.

Took a quick 400 or so with 6 lenses, never looked at the instructions. Set to RAW, cont shooting, and turned off review.
Wheels already set to move mag box, and c button on top set to use it.
shutter sounds exactly like old singer sewing machine LOL. Louder than 5n, but it's livable.
camera boots fast contrary to reports. this may be because I have new ultra fast card.
Though I wish it was smaller and lighter, I am not dissappointed, suberb build, great machine.

This is the original German LTM? These things are worth a fortune on Hong Kong streets - you could easily sell one for a Mint Summilux Pre-A or even a Noctilux!
Great test shots, btw

Maybe I'm too used to heavy and old mech SLR's but I think the A7 is tiny and very light! Plus i was blown away by the view finder which was BRIGHT and fast in low light! I really didnt want to like this camera I just bought a Widelux and I am broke!
