I think a "no buying" month is a good idea. I believe that if all the RFF members would restrict their buying, camera prices on "that auction site" would crash.

I don't respond well to challenges and never seriously considered either option! Personally, I'm going to buy a new ball head today to put on the new tripod I got yesterday. For the past decade I've only been able to buy what I really, really need. I'm the poster-boy for "family first" and being broke. Whatever disposable income I used to have is now consumed by the wife and kids. What's more, I like it that way! Toys are fun, but I "feel whole" with a snotty-nosed kid wearing a diaper full of poop crawling on my lap for some cuddles!
But since today is the first day of lent, I'd like to propose a challenge any believers in this religious practice to give up something really meaningful: useless chatter on internet forums.
