Another stupid question - do they provide the same view as camera finder,
or they don't have this RF patch for focusing?

as I understand, this finder has no connection with camera, so it is used for framing only, not for focusing.
Am I wrong?

I use one almost all the time, but to frame only. The CV VFs are superb for that purpose. Mr. K did it right. But you gotta use some kind of safety cord to secure it to the camera or you'll lose it for sure!!!!! I know--I did.

Is there anybody who have CV 35mm metal finder?
Does it have parallax compensation?
It's really tricky to guess frame borders of 35mm with 40mm framelines :-(
I can use full finder, but due to parallax compensation, frameline is shifted to the right and bottom, so I do not see lower and right bound of the frame at all

Hallo Minoltalist 🙂

The finder has brightlines indicating the view at infinity and about 1 metre. It is very easy to accurately frame using these indications and the CV finders are uniformly excellent. The best place to learn more about them is via our friend Mr Gandy - http://cameraquest.com/inventor.htm - then follow the sidebar link vff and acc info🙂

Cheers, Ian.

Hi! minoltist7, borrow your thread.

For those Voigtlander finders without bright frame lines, how do u frame? Using the whole of the VF?
