Reason: I want to mount the Voightländer 10 mm (available with Leica M / M39 mount)
I think a Bessa L would be the best solution.
Or a Canon P or similar if you want something a little closer to the Nikon in size and feel.
The lens is M-mount right? A Bessa L or Canon P ain't gonna work.

For M/LTM mount...
Non RF Leica: MD, MDa, MD-2 = not Leica RF feel, but light/cheap.
I use with pleasure MDa with my wides.

On the 2nd-handmarket ya 'll find mostly M39 and Leica M mount.
Absolutely incomprehensible to me why they dont build one with Nikon S mount like a lot of other Voightländer lenses.

The 10mm Voigtlander is made in Leica M and Sony E, never in M39.
Neither are adaptable to Nikon rangefinders -- the lens back focus will not allow it.
Voigtlander discontinued their Nikon S mount lenses due to low sales. There will not be more.
Your best solution is Leica M or Sony FE body with the appropriate mount Voigtlander 10mn lens.

Probably because they would only sell 2. One to you and one to me
.
I also have the 12mm + F-S adapter.

Thanks for leading me the right way.
I thought I've seen one with M39 - well I was wrong.
So it will have to be a cheap Leica.

Indeed, especially for architecture! One day I'll try out the 10mm...on my M6.

Voigtlander stopped making LTM (or L39, not M39) lenses a loooong time ago (2004-5?) whereas the 10mm is a very recent lens (released in 2016). No idea what you were smoking when you thought you saw an LTM version of the 10mm for sale on the used market, but I want some

Ah - 2004 is only fourteen short years ago.
. . .
I got confused from to many different mounts on to many different lenses for to many different bodys. :bang:
