Adaptor, filter and lens hood?

I have just ordered the black X100, which comes with the adapter, lens hood and a protection filter. Just wondering if all three will work together - adapter/filter/hood?
I would imagine that they do, but the regular hood and adapter don't include a filter in the combination. Will the hood screw onto the filter?
Also, will the lens cap work on the adapter/filter, without the lens hood?
I wanted the X100 before a trip to Europe last year, but production delays ended up with me buying an Olympus XZ-1 instead, which I enjoyed, but I am headed to Istanbul in a couple of months, and this time I want to be armed with my X100. Can't wait for it to arrive.

not sure about the answer, but also unsure about using hood/filter together. the adapter/hood change the small profile more than you think, making the cam not pocketable in a jacket. on the other hand it does reduce glare.

personally i dont like non artistic filters, so my decision is based purely on the profile i want the X to have, pocketable or not. i'm not sure of the functional purpose for having both the hood and nonartistic filter at same time.
