Adjust M6TTL Meter?

Hi, I have an M6ttl that's meter is
a stop'ish off from my Minolta spot & hand held meters ... is there a way to (without taking it apart) tweek the meter? A small screw somewhere?

My M6 (classic) is also about a stop off. I found I was overexposing slightly after the first couple of rolls, so now I set the ISO 1 click higher than the rated speed.

I was wondering the same thing. Seems like you should be able to move the scale slightly.

I bet they can be calibrated by a tech. My MPs all give me a shutter speed 2/3 faster for a given ISO than my other cameras, so for a film I rate at 100 on other cameras I set 64 for the Leicas. They are consistently different which is fine. 400 speed films I rate at 320 in my Mamiya 7 or RF645 or Eos 3, I rate at 200 in the MPs.

M6/M6TTL's electronic has small potentiometers (for the meter) and the camera has to be dismantled (top-cover removed at least) to make adjustments.

The MP has a new designed electronic with a flash-processor that can be set and adjusted without removing the top-cover and is more stable over time since potentiometers have been omitted from the design.

Gabor, what does that mean in terms of ease of adjustment on the MP? Cant say it makes that much sense as one can just adjust film speed rating, but if the thing goes in for a service it might. Problem is I would have to get them all done as my Leicas agree perfectly, just different to my other cams.

From what I understand the MP meter is easier to re-calibrate for the service technicians at Leica compared with the preceding cameras because the MP does not have to been opened for this special purpose (same as for RF adjustments). If yours is consistently off (and nothing else wrong) I would just adjust the ISO speed accordingly.
