Well-known
With all the ruckus going on about the subscription I find it only fair to give some praise to Adobe on another subject matter.
Two months ago I asked Adobe how I could sidegrade my CS5 license from Windows to Apple and what the associated costs would be. The answer was contact us and it is free.
So when I finally got my iMac a few days ago I contacted Adobe to sidegrade. Not possible and had not been for 16 months. Only way to go is to upgrade to CS6 for Macs.
Not quite content with that message I wrote a complaint to the CEO of Adobe Saturday. This morning I got contacted by their support team. One can indeed only sidegrade from the current version. But since I was promised something else by an Adobe employee they would like to offer me a free CS6 for mac license. Everything was solved within the hour and a disc is in the mail (already got the license and it is running smoothly).
At almost no cost Adobe turned me back into being a satisfied customer.
If you are considering going Apple just bear this in mind.
