Adobe Update Kills Aperture M8 Support?

I've been using Aperture for my M8 on a new iMac for a couple of weeks. The newest (summer 07) Apple RAW update included M8 support, so this used to all work out of the box. I noticed Adobe did an update on CS3 last week, and since then my M8 files are now "UNSUPPORTED FORMAT" in Aperture.

Has anyone else found their native Aperture M8 file support disappeared after this Adobe update? Does anyone know how to restore Aperture's native M8 capability?

Thanks!

I saw same thing on another forum. Their solution was to "rebuild the library at start-up." That post said this worked.

wow, clever move by Adobe... ;)

"Clever" is not what I was thinking. As a consumer of many Adobe products I would interpret it as annoying on Adobe's part if this was intentional.

For me though, I've made the latest updates for Aperture and CS3 and had no problems. If you have problems the quick fix is to rebuild library when starting up.

Hold down command and option key when starting up Aperture to rebuild library.
