Just noticed there are now ads when one pages through someone's photostream. One in every seven pages generates an add on the whole page, fundamentally changing the experience.

I believe it does not apply to pro members who have an ad free experience.

Correct, a pro subscription comes without ads.

You could always install an ad-blocker on to your web browser. You can set it to disable itself if you're cruising around somewhere you feel supportive of the content like RFF. I never see any ads anywhere with the ad blocker installed. Not even on YouTube videos.

I'm allergic to ads.

I have an ad blocker. The full page view is blank, the thumbnail blank with the word "ad".
