Fiat lux
I was in Istanbul last week and took some shots inside the Hagia Sophia museum. I knew it would be dim inside, so I pushed Tri-X to EI1600, here are some of the results. Negatives came out thin and contrasty, grainy in the shadows as I had read would happen. I underexposed most shots, so mostly grainy and contrasty. Developed in D-76 stock for recommended times.
This was my first time doing this, so I am on the lower part of the learning curve. I should have exposed for longer / opened up a bit more. Most of the times were 60 or 125 / sec. at between f.5.6 to f.8 on my Mamiya 6 / 50mm. Hope I can improve on these results next time - maybe I should have just used 3200 film?
Cheers
