The vc 40/1.4 jumps between the M4 and RD1. It was having a bad bokeh day which happens from time to time

Good bokeh day...Actually take not long after. RD1 still at 800 iso

They are a strange lens in that respect ... I suspected it was a CV 35mm or 40mm.

I second all the advice being given,
the upgrade of firmware is very easy and you then have a R-D1s
I purchased the r-d1 and upgraded to r-d1s, never any regrets.
