Hi Folks,

Where would be a good place to buy a good-to-great condition, serviced OM-1? (or for that matter any of the OM-2 to 4). I'm a little concerned that e-bay is hit-and-miss. Are there reputable dealers that folks can recommend? Or is there a list somewhere which I don't know of yet? I know there are some folks here with collections too. Thanks in advance for your help -- Martin

Most likely Camtech, he's the go to guy for repairs on all things Olympus. He might
have some used ones, I just got a black OM1n from England and I finally got one that
totally works (even the meter) but your right, it's hit or miss on e-bay. Keh is good as well
as B&H photo in New York.

Yeah I don't know where you could buy an OM that has already been worked over. I'd buy the best one KEH has and hope for the best.

I'd probably be buying the cheapest clean example I could find on eBay then sending it to Camtech for the works! Getting John to CLA my OM-1 was the best thing I ever did for the camera ... dead accurate meter and as smooth as silk!

I'd second KEH if you are in the US. They seem to have the best rep as far a grading goes.

I like the OM-1👎 or OM-2👎 best because the have the smoothest film advance. I have an OM-2sp and they have an odd advance that feels rougher to me.
