AE Lock: Minolta HI-MATIC 7S / HI-MATIC 9

Hi,

I've a question about the HI-MATIC 7S and HI-MATIC 9. Is it possible to lock the exposure by pressing the shutter release button halfway? I've checked the manuals but there is no information about it.

yes! If you look the needle will not move when the release is half-depressed.
