I was about to sell my M6 Millenium, since I don't really shoot film it's been 3+ years now, but my wife (seeing how less excited I am about photography since I moved to Fuji X-Pro1, and then Sony A7r) convinced me to have one last go with film, in an upcoming trip this October. (intention is to prove or disprove my argument that film is too costly). So I bought 20 rolls or TriX and will develop them myself.
I have been trying to find a lab online to which I could mail my negatives and get high resolution scans (~4000ppi). The few labs I could find online that offer high resolution scans charge between $40 and $90 per roll, which seems a bit excessive to me.
Do you guys can recommend any mail-in service that offers good high resolution scanning and that will not cost my pants ?
