Jorge should actually post a warning like the ones on American cigarette packs as to the dangers of joining this forum. But what a nice addiction.
I have used the Jupiter 8 with my Bessa T with excellent results. I also have a Bessa R which I love, but use with the 50mm Nokton.
The real fun cameras IMHO are my Zorki 4 and Fed 5 which I bought on Ebay last summer from Ukranian sellers with the Jupiter 8 and Industar 61 L/D respectively and which both function perfectly which is to say I was very lucky.
I hope you enjoy your trip to Illinois in spite of the wind and cold and I know you will enjoy your Bessa R.

Rob - Mundelein is pretty far from downtown but if you're coming this far it would be a shame not to spend some time in the city itself. Let me know when you might be downtown and I can meet you somewhere.

Hey I work in Mundelein. I don't figure there's much to see here so if I were you I would definitely make a trip in to the city and definitely a trip to Central Camera.
