Aftermarket substitute for ITDOO?

I think for my 35mm summaron f3.5 I used to have, I just bought a 39mm no name vented hood on ebay and it worked like a charm. I'm not really interested in the "brand" of hoods if they serve the function. Obviously nice to fit a filter with the hood when the design allows for it, which I have with the Summicron, but for $200....I'd rather buy 3 bulk rolls of Tri-x and have 60 rolls to shoot after getting a $12 no-name hood and shoot a filter without a hood when the time called for it.

$200 is not a market rate - even in these inflated times. From KEH, I see one rated Ex for $72:

IROOA is your other option for period-correctness, and it runs roughly the same price. For $100, you can expect collector grade from a reasonable seller.

Only problem with aftermarket: it's not Leitz. 🙂

I have an IROOA. It's WAY too big.
Sorry, but since you mentioned ITDOO, I thought you owned a Summaron E39 LTM (available in f/3.5 and f/2.8 versions). If you want a hood for the earlier A36 version, look for FOOKH. It's uncommon, but don't pay $100 for it! Alternatively, get the more-common FISON for 50mm A36 lenses and grind it back.
