Found a roll of Kodak ProFoto XL 100 that didn't get put in the fridge, so I didn't have to wait an hour before loading it. This is the camera that I had to dig two AA batteries out of, and clean the corrosion up before I could determine if it was going to work.

Went down to a little park close to the apartment when it was 22F. Almost too cold for me, and it definitely became too cold for the camera. The batteries held up okay, but the shutter apparently got very sluggish towards the end. One can either go full manual with the camera, or Shutter Priority. It has a selenium cell meter that only gives a "Go-No Go" reading in the viewfinder, so even if you have the exposure setting way out of whack, you still can take a photo.

The lens is very nice on this camera. I'm going to have to get some 35mm filters for it though, before I shoot any B&W. I happened to have a nice Walz hood that fits.

Can't wait till it gets back over 40F.

It appears to be working very well...aside from the sluggish shutter in the cold. Another cool old camera brought back to life.
