I've just aquired a used condition Agfa Super Silette off of eBay by a mistake. I ordered the Silette (w/o the RF) but the seller sent me this instead, so
Anyway, I have noticed that this camera has a few cleaning mark scratches on the lens and that the vertical RF is off... Can anyone help me adjust the RF?
It would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Ehh, the other camera didn't look so swell either. Leatherette was near deteriorating. Got it for $7 shipped!
Anyway, I have heard that I have to take off the top and do some tweaking, but it seems a bit nerveracking for me. Any agfa repairmen ya'll can recommend me to? Thanks!

The Super Silette is esentially the same camera as my Ansco Super Memar. I got mine new in the late 1950s or early '60s. A nice compact camera but by today's standards I'm not very impressed with the quality of the images (I have the F2 lens) and you really need a lens shade to control flare. I've never tried adjusting the rangefinder so I can't help there.

I don't know my own mind
I don't know the Super Silette ... Is this a body with fixed lense?
I deal with the Ambi Silette. For this one you can have a look to the following links:

Ahh! Thanks for your help everyone! You are right Kiev4A, the Agfa Super Silette is the non-US version of the Ansco Super Memar. Luckily, I was able to find Rick Oleson's dissassy instructions (http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/ansco.gif) ! Thank you so much!
And yes, 24x30 it is a fixed lens.
Unfortunately... mine smells of old leathery mildew mixed with a musty body smell. Someone must have put this under their sweaty underarms for a while. The smell is unlike the cigarette and mildew odor of Russian RF's. It's more of a wet dog smell here!

A tip on the leaf shutter. If it hangs at some speeds just a teeey bit of Ronsonal on the blades often works as a CLA. I can't emphasize "teeny" enough because the stuff and easily migrate to the rear lens.

I can't proceed with the disassy right now. I dont have a spanner or anything that will take off the spanner screw! I'll go check my hardware store later today. Thanks for the tip about the lighter fluid. I'll try that.
