Anyone know how to adjust the horizontal image on the Agfa Ambi Silette camera. I have one where the horizontal is off significantly. Vertical is okay. I can get the top off—no problem, but don't know what to look for. The plunger pin that connects to the lens moves in and out freely.
Thanks, WES

There is a small adjustment screw between the rangefinder assembly and the camera body that adjust the horizontal image. This works most of the time but I have done adjustments to a couple of Ambi Silettes and sometimes it screws up the movement of the rangefinder patch if it is adjusted to much. There are ways to make more advanced adjustment if one removes the top cover of the rangefinder assembly, but that generally involves losening glued screws that holds pivoting mirrors, not very fun and can be quite a daunting endeavour.

I thought that might be it. Worked it a while and loosened the rotating lever a bit and got it to focus to infinity. Will post pictures on my blog eventually (when I have more shots).
Thanks!

I had to replace the spring under the rangefinder on mine, to get it to reliably follow the lens movement - the old spring had become quite slack.
