I found a Agfaflex SLR at the flea market today. It came with a 50mm f/2.8 Agfa Color-Solinar lens. I am not familiar with this camera but it seems to work fine except for a weak meter.
Any information on this camera??
How do I determine if it is a III, IV, or V??

Look for a book called Collecting & Using Classic SLRs by Ivor Matanle. I have it and it talks about the Agfaflexes. I have to dig the book out of a box, which is why I didn't just tell you what it says
If you can't find a copy at the library, let me know and i'll dig mine out and tell you about the camera.

I went to 3 different libraries today looking for that book but it is no longer in the inventory..

I see a number of pages on the Internet about the Agfaflex. They aren't mentioned much on this forum, that's for sure.

The lens is likely a Tessar design, so who cares which model for the body.
