Hello
Can someone tell me if the Agnar lens in the Agfa Isolette I is or is not a coated lens? It has no visible colour or hue, and my guess would be that it is an uncoated lens. The lens I'm writing about has its name & number (white lettering) in a black circle around the glass, not engraved in the front chrome ring.
Thanks in advance.

Coating is something one can see. Mine is light bluish.

The picture of petronius is probably the result of a light leak or internal reflection and not lack of coating.

I heve the same lens in an Isolette V and it shows some blue/violet color. When using it, I found that it probably is uncoated, as you can see in my example.

Edit: Here: http://www.rolandandcaroline.co.uk/isolettei/isolettei.html They say its coated, but it seems to be a different lens than yours.

Thank you
My camera seems similar to the one in the link, however I am not sure about the lens in the photo. In the description they state it is a coated lens - and it is better to accept that, and take additional care when cleaning it .
Best regards
Joao
