Another update, as I have just traveled in FRA.
Very swift and friendly. First agent noted to keep all in the bag, but I showed film "ah yes".
The bag got a secondary screening to which the ray operator noticed it was a film camera (Pentax 645), he had guessed Mamiya! I guess anyways when you have 2 large cameras (digital was also) plus all other random stuff, it catches attention.
However, good experiences do not invalidate the spontaneous occurrence of harshness and negative to hand checks which can really damage the films, sadly.
