Al Kaplan's first Bessa-L...Need Lens

Very good and that's the Leica I had. It was stupid for me to sell it...that was a gem. Have fun with it. I will post more.

I'm now 90% a digital photographer but I like to do b/w film photography, and that's what I'll do with Al's camera.
 
Well, bad news and good news.

Bad news: The 21mm lens Al's son has is for his Leica CL with an M mount so it won't fit on the Bessa. He does have his dad's original grungy smoky 15mm lens (which would be ideal) but I doubt he will part with it. I asked, however.

Good news: I started "The Price of Silver-West" blog today and will continue with it, with or without a Bessa lens (I'll find a lens somewhere) and will use my Yashica Lynx 5000 until that time, as well as post old b/w photos I took years ago and include some "Best of Al" photos .

Al's son's 21mm lens IS a thread mount with an M adapter so it will work on Al's old camera. :D The deal is done and that Ok...maybe I'll find an old 15mm someday (gotta be old) and play with that too. I'll keep ya posted and will work on the new blog. Thanks for your help.
